Where I found all three of the Willow Farm books for the small girl (and The Children of Willow Farm is the exact edition I had when I was younger) and a few of the St Clare's books for the big girl. Unfortunately we found the first and fourth and she wants to read them in order so I will have to hunt around for some more.

And of course seven thousand hours in the car does mean there was some time for car craft:

And of course, hanging out with the Queensland replies. Hope the new year has been full of family, fun and sunshine for you too.

Gulp. I can't believe I've signed up for a camping trip eight hours away. I'm wondering how many bribery and corruption jelly snakes will go flying out the window that car journey?!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks like you milked seven thousand hours for all it was worth...
PS. YES to the ukelele! The Kris Kringle recipient took it with him to Sri Lanka! Poor Sri Lanka...
Ooh I had forgotten about Willow Farm! What a good find!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the St Claire's and Mallory Towers books - I always wanted to go to school there! =)
I will keep an eye out for them when we're second hand books shopping =)
I did pick up all three of the 'Green Grass of Wyoming' books before Christmas with your and Jo's girls in mind (do you know them? - they're the ones that go with My Friend Flicka. A bit different to the Enid Blyton school ones, but my mum's editions of them all matched so it reminded me! =))
