Queensland (and Victoria) Flood Appeal Auction - a Giveaway of Sorts

Edit again:  At Toni's suggestion, entries to the giveaway will now clost at 12.00pm AEDST on 26th January.  Most of the auctions are ending on the 24th so the later ending date means that if you miss out on your auction, you can still donate and enter the giveaway.

Edit: As more devestation unfolds across Victoria, the Red Cross is now taking donations to help those Victorians affected by floods in their state.  You can donate here.  Every $5 you donate to this appeal will also give you an entry into the giveaway - just comment below with your receipt number)

I am sure everyone is aware of the devestating floods that have occured across Queensland over the past few weeks (and spread into Northern New South Wales).  There is now flooding in Victoria and heavy rain is expected in Tasmania too.

Toni from Make it Perfect has co-ordinated a heap of crafty people who will be running auctions, sales, raffles, and giveways through their blog over the next week.

I am going to be hosting a giveaway here over the next week for a custom made 16 inch waldorf style doll.

You an choose skin tone - fair, medium or dark - eye colour, hair colour and style. 

The doll will come fully dresssed, inculding shoes and underpants, with a hand knitted cardigan and a change of clothes.  You can see the range of clothing styles here, and fabrics to choose from are here.

How to enter:

The giveway is open to anyone world wide - I will cover shipping costs.

You need to donate to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal or to the Red Cross Victorian Flood Appeal 2011 - every $5 you donate will get you one entry in the giveaway.  Or to the Red Cross Victorian Flood appeal 2011.

Please comment with your receipt number to enter the giveaway.  If you donate $20, comment 4 times so that you get all your entries. 

Please make sure I can contact you through your comment.

Entries close at midday Australian Eastern Day Light Savings time on the 26th January, and the winner will be announced soon after.

The doll will be finished and ready to post to you by the end of February
