Millie has done exactly that. She loves living with the mermaids but wants to have a few adventures too. Millieloves cuddles, reading stories together and choc-chip biscuits.
Millie is a heirloom toy that is made to be played with and loved. She is approximately 16 inches tall and her tail is removable. Millie also comes with denim pants and kimono top for those times when she wants to disguise herself as a human. She is made from natural materials – her skin is cotton tricot, she is stuffed with clean carded sheeps wool and her hair is pure wool. Her clothes are cotton and her tail is wool felt.
Millie will be for sale at Handmade Market today. Custom orders are possible but each doll is unique and I won't be able to recreate Millie exactly.

She turned out so great! Love the color blend in the tail. Bet she won't last long.

ReplyDeleteHi. I found your blog the other day while looking for help making a waldorf doll (Took me a while to backread all your blogs - I really enjoyed them). Anyway, I have a kit and have started making it up (after 3 years of fear) but am having some issues. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind giving me a bit of advice? My head is OK and is 12 inches in diameter, but the body is only 6 inches - and I followed the instructions! My daughter is calling it a "Dolly-pop" which wan't the reception I was hoping for... I only have enough tricot to cut out one more body and don't want to stuff it up. Anyway, I was hoping you could tell me your doll's proportions - head vs body circumference? Thanks for any assistance! Jodie (J.Robinson@uq.edu.au).
